It's late. I should be in bed. I had a horrible nightmare last night. I.WILL.SPARE.YOU.the details! All I know is that tonight..... this very night...I want to dream about some of my favorite things >>> Animals <<< baby lambs, goats, chickens, yorkies, ducks, cows, horses etc. All the animals that I plan on buying once I make my $$$ MILLIONS $$$ [wink wink] not a fancy car or an over-sized cardboard house, but a teeny house [with lots of little rooms] on a big blanket of land for me to build a community of tee-pees and a big stage, where I can have all my favorite musicians come and play free shows under the twinkle lights while eating soooo much yummy summer food! THAT is what I want to dream about tonight! I guess I am also really excited for summer to come...rode my bike around this morning/evening and it was wonderful! :)

NEW PRINTS in the shop folks! Yeah....can we say FINALLY? I have been meaning to do this now for oh...I dunno..YEARS?! anyways... Will be adding a couple new ones every couple weeks, so always be checking! ;)
This is one of my favorites! It is a drawing I took from sketchbook just recently that I did of my church's president! He [President Thomas S. Monson] is such a smart man! Whether your religious or not, he is someone to look to for guidance! Can't say enough about him. LOVE LOVE LOVE him!!! :)

Had a pretty eventful week, here is 40% of what I did...
My friend Angela and I helped our friend Juidiith Clawson [pictured, center] with our mutual friends wedding reception, doing the flowers and center pieces.
Working with flowers is a lot of fun! I have made single bouquets for myself but never for a party/reception. It definitely makes me want to get a magnifying glass even more...seeing all their interesting parts and whatnot... Juidiith let Angela and I go to town with the flowers, this is some of what we came up with! :)
After wards, Angela and I and our friend Chase got a quick bite to eat at Siegfrieds delicatessen, a German restaurant! This was my meal... I am a creature of habit, I get the same thing every time >>> lettuce, cheese & tomato sandwich - sparkling drink & caramel waffle crisps... but I did try some of my friend's dinner, & that was tasty...but a little too fall/winter for me. 8^p

Then we cruised off to go see a show. Outside of the venue [In the Venue] was this AWESOME taco stand! I loooove how they wrote Taco! That is some good design right there!
Saw Mr. Mayer Hawthorne >>> who was super soulful & SEXY! HOO HAW! 8^[) That guy is smooth!
AND THEN!!!!! PASSION PIT CAME ON! WHOO HOO! This was my 2nd time seeing them this year...& the show was even better! Crazier crowd though... I have mixed feelings with that...

I couldn't believe it, after the show...this super tall dude was waving tickets in the air and saying free tickets blah blah blah...I thought he was giving away the Passion Pit stubs or something? YEAH! NO! He was giving MGMT COMP tickets away! Total Bummer...but my friend Justin was smart enough to snag one! ;[)
And then...when I got home...I had kind of a major crazy high...I couldn't sleep [still wanted to keep dancing into the night] so I made A LOT of jewelry! I tell ya, if I wasn't Mormon...i'd be a total raver! I would! :/

Happy Easter everyone! I hope your Sunday is AWESOME! I made a little design this morning that has my VERY FAVORITE hymn - "For the Beauty of the Earth" Remember the scene in Little Women when May gets married [is it May? Totally forgot the oldest sister's name now] and everyone joins hands in a circle and then they walk around May and her husband singing "For the Beauty of the Earth" that is one of my very favorite movie scenes of all time. Okay, so if you click on the design below, it will open to a new window in its original size, 8.5 X11 and it's for you to print out and hang up if you wish. :)

Happy Friday! Hope you all have some awesome plans this weekend...I get to lay low this week [starting today] and do some craftin, photoshopin, sketchin, portfolion etc. I am having a little open house/party the end of this month to get ready for and having decorations on thee brain...one of which is to make a ton of garlands. I was inspired by this hanging bird one...so I did some sketches of possible garlands to make. Will post pics them next weekend. :)

Exciting news on the homefront..... X96 an alternative radio station out here in Salt Lake City, put on a contest for the band Muse which will be playing here Monday night at the E Center. Anyways, basically the contest is to design a poster for the band & then the winner receives 2 tickets to the concert and then a backstage pass [?] to get their poster autographed. Autographed, yes...but backstage passes....I dunno.... anyhoo...my dreams of designing posters/cd covers for musicians are slowly coming true. However, I had no idea who Muse was till Sunday. My friend Jon told me about this contest and then forwarded me the info Monday evening. The deadline was Wednesday. I decided to forgo doing my taxes Tuesday night to do this...took me 6 hrs. Well worth it! ha! ;[) but I still gotta do my taxes... ;/

This Ficoco spread is one of my new FAVORITE things for 3 reasons!
1. I love figs [my most favorite pizza in the entire WORLD is with fig spread!]
2. I loooooove chocolate!
3. I love this font!
Yesterday while cruising in and out of Whole Foods I passed the Ficoco spread, which was horribly squeezed into the cheese section...it is kinda easy to miss this lil lady! Anyways...in heaven!
These two guys are also favorites of mine. And such an appropriate drink for today!
