Exciting news on the homefront..... X96 an alternative radio station out here in Salt Lake City, put on a contest for the band Muse which will be playing here Monday night at the E Center. Anyways, basically the contest is to design a poster for the band & then the winner receives 2 tickets to the concert and then a backstage pass [?] to get their poster autographed. Autographed, yes...but backstage passes....I dunno.... anyhoo...my dreams of designing posters/cd covers for musicians are slowly coming true. However, I had no idea who Muse was till Sunday. My friend Jon told me about this contest and then forwarded me the info Monday evening. The deadline was Wednesday. I decided to forgo doing my taxes Tuesday night to do this...took me 6 hrs. Well worth it! ha! ;[) but I still gotta do my taxes... ;/

Found your blog via Jon's and the muse contest. And that poster is freaking awesome! I mean I would buy that and hang it on my Muse shrine if I was 17.
Also I work with a youth group that pushes a clothing line called One Good Reason that supports a tobacco free lifestyle. As part of the website we have an Artist of the Month and use their artwork for limited edition t'shirts and posters. Let me know if you are interested.
I laughed outloud because I hadn't heard X96 for years! but seriously that poster rocks. Nice work.
