My good friend Erin [pictured], who knits and crochets very well and who is also the owner of Sodafine Boutique here in Brooklyn, is helping me [ A LOT!] with one of my pieces for my thesis collection. It has been great working with her and listening to the feedback she has been giving me that will make my jacket look even cuter! Cannot wait for when we complete it! Thanks again Erin! xo :) check back for more updates on this project!

andrea, your pieces are great - never hurts to ask! :)
The shop looks like a perfect place! i was wondering, where does your shop name: Romawinkel come from? I like it.
Ahhh Erin's shop IS a perfect place!
Romawinkel comes from... RoMa being short for Roxy Marj..first two initials of my name..and winkel means house in dutch! :) Glad you like it. tickles me pink! :) hee!
Ah thank you :-) after reading the answer, it seems to be obvious, at first i made the connection Roma/culture, i studied the gipsy culture for a while for designing fashion... And 'winkel' I recognized ;-) I am from the Netherlands :-)
What is your connection with the Netherlands?
hahaha lol :) No connection with the Netherlands... I just like the language.. I don't know how to explain it but it seems very storybook to me... ??? :/ does that make sense
yes i can imagine, the small country under the clouds (seeing it from the airplane ;-) with the funny language.. :-) hihi
